COPENHAGEN -- TDC Mobile has entered into a so-called MVNO agreement with Telenor in Norway. With this agreement, TDC will start selling TDC Mobile's services to Norwegian customers in the first quarter of 2006. The mobile services will be provided via TDC Song while TDC Mobile will provide the MVNO services. The offering will include both 2G and 3G, and the target group will initially be business customers.
In Sweden and Finland, TDC Mobile has operated through a partnership with Vodafone for several years. With TDC Mobile offering services in Norway, TDC Song will be able to offer its customers one-stop shopping business solutions, including both mobile telephony and integrated IP-based communications solutions.
"We will use this agreement to establish a presence in the Norwegian mobile market. The agreement is thereby another step forward in our strategy of being able to manage all Nordic countries as one home market. The services offered will be aimed at both Danish business customers in Norway and purely Norwegian business customers," says Henning Vest, President of TDC Mobile International.
"Our Danish business customers operating in Norway will have access to our mobile services in the same way as in Denmark. During the first quarter of 2006, we will start offering a range of business services that will be followed by our entire portfolio of services for business customers," states Mads Middelboe, President of TDC Mobile.
"Our Norwegian business customers are currently mobile customers with other operators. TDC Mobile’s business solutions are well developed, reliable and versatile. We believe that our customers will want to use our services as this will enable them to have a one-stop supplier of communications solutions," says Ketil Kivedahl, President of TDC Song in Norway.
