COPENHAGEN -- The Board of Directors of TDC A/S has decided to appoint Carsten Dilling as Chief Executive Officer with the title Head of Group, CEO as of 2 July 2012.
Carsten Dilling, who is 50 years and holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration (finance) and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (International Trade) from Copenhagen Business School, has been a member of the Corporate Management Team since 2007, and latest as Senior, Executive Vice President for TDC Operations.
Carsten Dilling has during the period 1984-2001 held a number of executive positions within IBM, has during 2001-2005 been CEO of Columbus IT Partner and during 2005-2007 been managing director of Ementor A/S and deputy CEO of Ementor ASA. Carsten Dilling is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Traen A/S and Traen Holding A/S as well as Executive Manager of CDI Consult ApS.
Also on 2 July 2012 Henrik Poulsen will resign as Head of Group, CEO and member of the Corporate Management Team as well as of Chairman of the Board of Directors of a number of TDC subsidiaries. These chairmanships will be assumed by Carsten Dilling. Henrik Poulsen will continue as advisor to Carsten Dilling until sometime late August.
