ARLINGTON, Va. -- SUPERCOMM 2002 will feature a dedicated area on the exhibit floor that showcases emerging companies focusing on telecom infrastructure hardware, software or enabling technology, event organizers today announced. The new exhibit area will be called the SUPERNest Zone. SUPERCOMM 2002, the premier annual communications and information technology exhibition and conference will be held June 2-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. "SUPERCOMM has long been dedicated to providing attendees with an experience that they are unable to get anywhere else. The event is also known as a `launch pad' for telecom technology companies because of its ability to gather the influencers of the industry - be it the press and analyst community, VCs or customers," said Jack Chalden, SUPERCOMM's general manager. "Because of this dynamic, we believe that the SUPERNest Zone is a logical addition to SUPERCOMM. In the new Zone, attendees will be able to meet and talk with companies that they would not otherwise have even been aware of - companies that have not launched or made entree into the market." Companies that will be featured in the SUPERNest Zone: -- Acme Packet
-- AVAZ Networks, Inc.
-- Critical Telecom Corp.
-- Ikanos Communications
-- Inatel
-- Internet Machines Corp.
-- InvisibleHand Networks, Inc.
-- iPolicy Networks
-- Optix Networks
-- Redline Communications
-- Snowshore Networks
-- Think Engine Networks, Inc.
-- TiMetra Networks
-- Unicess Networks, Inc. Many of the companies exhibiting in the SUPERNest Zone will also participate in the Telecom Investor Forum at SUPERCOMM 2002. The Telecom Investor Forum at SUPERCOMM 2002, www.telecominvestor.com, will feature presentations from CEOs of more than 70 of the telecom industry's hottest private companies.
