SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Sonim Technologies, the leader in enabling wireless data networks to deliver services including the Push-to-Talk (PTT) capability, today announced the additions of Brad Cameron, Pedro Rump and Perry Tobin to its executive management team. These additions will enable Sonim to meet the quickly growing demand for PTT systems and handsets based on the PoC phase 1 specification. They will lead Sonim's rapidly expanding product development teams; all located at Sonim's headquarters in San Mateo, California, USA.

"The industry is showing a tremendous support for the PoC phase 1 specification, support that is now turning into concrete orders and contracts for standards-based, interoperable handsets and servers," said John Burns, CEO and President for Sonim Technologies. "The additions of Brad, Pedro and Perry assure that we will continue to deliver carrier-grade solutions on-quality, on feature and on time."

Brad Cameron has led the work developing the server technology for Sonim's PoC solution, and is now promoted to Vice President, Server Engineering. Brad has extensive experience in developing mission-critical telecom applications and platforms, having spent over 16 years at various telecom companies, including positions at Nortel in Canada and Texas, USA.

Pedro is a telecom industry veteran, with over 20 years of leading the development of carrier-grade applications for companies as Siemens, IBM and Rolm, plus several successful telecom startups.

Perry Tobin joins Sonim as Vice President of Client Engineering, and will be responsible for integrating Sonim PoC Client(TM) into the quickly growing list of PoC-enabled handsets, working directly with handset vendors as part of Sonim's Instant Port(TM) program. Perry was previously VP of Engineering at Motorola's subsidiary Starfish, and has over 19 years experience in leading software development, with a focus on handheld devices.
