SkyNetGlobal reports installation of its Singapore WiFi network of 119 McDonald's restaurants is on track

SYDNEY -- SkyNetGlobal (ASX: SKG), today announced that it is on target to complete deployment and testing of its Singapore WiFi network comprising of 119 McDonalds eatin restaurants, by the end of January 2004.
The SkyNetGlobal Singapore public wireless network will become the island's largest single branded chain of wireless hotspots at arguably the most convenient locations (literally 5 minutes away from each other across Singapore), attracting 4.4 million visitors per month.
The CEO of SkyNetGlobal, Jonathan Soon said "The interest from potential major customers has been very positive. We are currently in the process of finalising several major contracts and expect to announce them shortly. SkyNetGlobal Singapore is expected to provide positive cash flows and earnings to the group as early as this financial year ending June 2004."
