NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO -- SimulScribe, the leader in voicemail-to-text services and visual voicemail applications, announced today that it is changing its name to PhoneTag, effective Friday April 25th at 11:59 pm EST. PhoneTag will continue to offer the same award winning service that enables any individual or enterprise to stop listening to voicemail and start saving time and money by reading it. The Company, founded in 2003, experienced tremendous growth and success by offering the highest quality voicemail-to-text products under the SimulScribe brand name. SimulScribe's executive team believes the Company's success will only increase under the name PhoneTag and it will firmly remain the leader in the voicemail-to-text space.

"The name SimulScribe was terrible for our business; people had a real challenge remembering the name and they could not spell it, which was a real problem considering that new customers need to type in our web address to sign up," said James Siminoff, founder and CEO of PhoneTag. "It's really a testament to how great our service is when your company has such an awful name, but is still able to grow and succeed, not to mention win a number of awards for best service."
