DUBLIN -- Dublin based communications network monitoring expert Simtel has changed its name to CommProve. The company has been based in Dublin for over three years and employs over 20 people at its East Point Business Park base. The name change reflects the shift from the limitations of traditional network monitoring techniques such as drive tests, to monitoring genuine network-wide subscriber experience 24x7. These real time results are vital to network operators in their quest for optimal network quality.
“We’re the catalyst in a stagnant market, and our new name better describes our ability to deliver proven, valuable, actionable results,” said CommProve’s CEO Ali Pourtaheri. “Our success is built on our ability to highlight to mobile operators, issues around radio frequency and optimal content delivery based on direct subscriber experience.”
Already established as a dominant force in Europe and Latin America, CommProve currently provides comprehensive network monitoring services for a range of large mobile operators – most notably Italian giants TIM. CommProve is undergoing a global expansion programme and is currently opening offices in both France and India.
Founded in 1996, Simtel was a successful technology company serving a focused set of customers, ready to develop its innovative portfolio of products. A growth strategy plan was set in motion, comprising the launch of the Netledge™ network monitoring proposition, a global expansion programme, and the rebranding of the company.
