SimTel Technologies appoints Ali Pourtaheri, recently COO of Mycom, as its new CEO

DUBLIN, LONDON, and FLORENCE, Italy -- SimTel Technologies Limited, a leader in real-time Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring for fixed and mobile network operators, today announced it has appointed Mr Ali Pourtaheri as the new CEO. The appointment of Mr. Pourtaheri is a significant measure to aggressively expand SimTel’s international market share and address the developing market of QoS monitoring segment.

With over 22 years of experience in microelectronics and telecoms, Mr. Pourtaheri brings to bear significant industry experience to further boost the success of Simtel Technologies. Mr Pourtaheri was most recently COO of Mycom (USA), and previously CEO of Paratek (USA), Founder and CEO of UbiNetics (England) and Director of Global Product Line Management in Ericsson (Sweden). Furthermore, he was among the first 100 people appointed to the GSM Role of honour. Mr Pourtaheri’s wireless and telecom market understanding will be instrumental in raising the value proposition of Simtel offer to operators.
