SpectraLink expands its partnership with Siemens; will provide WiFi telephones for the Siemens HiPath Convergence Portfolio

BOULDER, Colo. -- SpectraLink Corporation (Nasdaq: SLNK), an industry pioneer in enterprise wireless communications, today announced that it has expanded its partnership with Siemens AG, a global provider of communication solutions for enterprises and carriers. Under this new agreement SpectraLink will provide Siemens with Wi-Fi wireless telephones as part of the HiPath Convergence Portfolio of products.

Further expanding the Siemens' IP communications portfolio, the SpectraLink-manufactured Wi-Fi handsets will be added to the HiPath enterprise convergence architecture allowing enterprises to enjoy the productivity and efficiency benefits of mobility in the enterprise. Two handset models will be available: the optiPoint WL1 professional is targeted at general enterprise applications, and the optiPoint W1 professional is designed for healthcare, retail, and industrial markets.
