Has significantly enlarged and upgraded its Princeton facility
January 3, 2001
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Sensors Unlimited, Inc. announces the grand opening of its newly expanded Princeton facilities, where state-of-the-art fiber optic components, used in Internet and telecommunications applications, are designed and fabricated. The grand opening, scheduled for January 12, 2001, at 8:30am, will be held in conjunction with the New Jersey Technology Council, and will feature a tour of Sensors' expansive cleanroom, where the company processes and tests its Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) devices.
``The cleanroom has tripled in size, to over 5,000 square feet, and we've automated more of our operations, which speeds the fabrication process,'' continues Sudol. ``In addition, we can now produce larger size wafers, yielding more linear arrays per wafer, which exponentially increases our production output.''
