BASINGSTOKE, U.K. -- Sandvine Incorporated has deepened its presence in the Europe, Middle East and Africa sales region with the opening of new offices in France and Germany, and the addition of three key area executives.

Joining Sandvine are Cyril Fhal, South European Sales Manager; Rob Harrison, North European Sales Manager and Erik Klaproth, Central European Sales Manager (see bios below).

This expanded capacity will enhance Sandvine's overall EMEA sales & support operations while enabling the company to better meet the demands of specific national markets for Sandvine's range of peer-to-peer policy management and worm mitigation products.

"Internet worms and peer-to-peer file sharing continue to pose serious cost challenges for service providers in every corner of the globe," said Dave Caputo, president and CEO of Sandvine. "The establishment of new area offices and dedicated territory personnel within EMEA signals our commitment to help providers everywhere better protect the overall broadband experience for their subscribers."
