ROK Entertainment and Spoken Communications announced the formation of a strategic alliance between the companies

LONDON and SEATTLE -- ROK EntertainmentGroup, the UK-based mobile technologies, applications and servicescompany, and Spoken Communications Inc., the hybrid voice technologyinnovator based in Seattle, have today announced the formation of astrategic alliance between the companies, which will see Spoken'sspeech-to-text transcription service, GotVoice, and its voice searchsolution, GotSearch, marketed under the ROK brand to mobile operators,handset manufacturers and directory-enquiry operators globally.

GotVoice, which will be branded ROKVoice outside the U.S., is a provencarrier-class voicemail to text and visual voicemail solution. Theproduct enables carriers to offer their customers the ability to haveall their voicemails transcribed in real-time and presented as SMS oremail, centralising all messaging in a single inbox and optimising userefficiency.

"We have been looking for a scalable visual voicemail for someconsiderable time, as we know that such a solution is a killerapplication. But until we saw GotVoice, we did not feel that any of theexisting offerings offered the scalability, reliability and economicmodel that would deliver value to our carrier partners," said JonathanKendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK.
