Sony Ericsson partners with RealNetworks to deliver RealAudio and RealVideo to multimedia handets, joins Helix Community

SEATTLE -- RealNetworks®, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK), the leading creator of digital media services and software, and Sony Ericsson today announced that Sony Ericsson will incorporate the RealPlayer® mobile including RealAudio® and RealVideo® and 3GPP in multimedia capable Sony Ericsson handsets. The two companies also announced that Sony Ericsson has joined the Helix Community. Mobile devices from Sony Ericsson with the RealPlayer are expected to ship by the end of 2004.
