BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2002--Raqia Networks, a fabless semiconductor company, announced its ReGXP Regular Expression Coprocessor engine, which provides OC-48 and OC-192 solutions for content-aware, policy-based, and security-focused networking systems. Raqia Networks offers wire-rate Regular Expression text-processing solutions ideal for security-related (Intrusion Detection/Virus-scanning) and HTTP header-parsing (Web-switching, Server Load Balancing) applications. The ReGXP is also ideal for Bio-Informatics and other text-intensive, server-based applications. The ReGXP is the first silicon-based "Regular Expression Coprocessor".
