Ramboll acquires major Indian engineering firm specialized in telecommunications

HARYANA, India -- The Ramboll Group acquires the firm IMIsoft, thereby taking a big leap into the Indian mobile market. This acquisition makes Ramboll Telecom the world's largest group in the design of telecommunication constructions.

It's all go for the Ramboll Group these days: just a few weeks after announcing its record-breaking results for 2007, Northern Europe's leading consultancy group has taken a significant leap forward in India. The Group is acquiring the Indian engineering firm IMIsoft which specialises in the design of mobile towers, software development and mobile networks surveillance.

IMIsoft is known as a well-established and well-reputed firm. Established in 1988, and with a workforce in excess of 650 employees, the firm enjoys a unique position on the Indian telecom market.
