Rohde & Schwarz and Beceem improve WiMax radio testing

MUNICH and SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Beceem, a leading Mobile WiMAX(tm) terminal chipset developer, andRohde & Schwarz, a world wide leader in test and measurement equipment,have teamed up to enable best-in-WiMAX RF performance test solutionsfor the WiMAX ecosystem.
The Rohde & Schwarz' Radio Conformance, R&D and Production Testsolutions have been optimized for Mobile WiMAX by testing with Beceem'sBCS200 baseband and radio chipset. A live demonstration featuringBeceem's Mobile WiMAX terminal reference design in combination withRohde & Schwarz' Radio Conformance, R&D and Production Test solutionswill be demonstrated at the TAIPEI WiMAX showcase, October 22nd thru23rd.
