Qualcomm VP Resigns
Qualcomm announced that Lou Lupin has resigned his position as executive vice president and general counsel

SAN DIEGO -- QUALCOMM Incorporated(Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division MultipleAccess (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, today announced thatLou Lupin has resigned his position as executive vice president and generalcounsel. Carol Lam, senior vice president and legal counsel, will serve asacting general counsel of QUALCOMM while a nationwide executive search isconducted for a new general counsel.

"He has played a major role in theformation of QUALCOMM's successful technology licensing program andnegotiation of key licensing agreements. Carol Lam joined QUALCOMM in February 2007 as a senior member of theCompany's legal team after having served as the United States Attorney forthe Southern District of California since 2002. Since joining the Company,Lam has helped manage and direct the Company's legal strategies worldwide(see February 15, 2007 press release on Carol Lam's appointment).
