Proximion Fiber Optics gains SEK 28 million (US$2.77 million) with new issue

KISTA, Sweden -- Through a recent new issue, the technology company Proximion Fiber Optics ABraised an additional SEK 28 million. “This is a confirmation that we are on the right path,” says Proximion’smanaging director Raoul Stubbe.The new investment round has recently concluded for Proximion Fiber Optics,a high technology company within the fiber optic sector. Including this newissue, the company has now raised SEK 65 million in risk capital.
“In an otherwise grim investment climate, this shows that our investorsstrongly believe in our technology and our ability to achieve establishedgoals,” says Raoul Stubbe, managing director and one of Proximion’sfounders.The new investment comes from InnovationsKapital, business angel Jan Hummeland a group of Canadian investors; all thus increase their engagement in thecompany.
