WASHINGTON -- Orthogon Systemsä, an innovative company providing deep non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless technology for broadband networks, will demonstrate its technology today at the Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI) annual convention in Washington D.C. The demonstration, being held at Orthogon’s Booth #525, proves that the OS-Gemini Broadband Wireless Ethernet Bridge can transmit video, or any other data traffic, reliably over a non-line-of-sight connection.

The OS-Gemini Wireless Ethernet Bridge delivers up to 23 Mbps of throughput and maintains extraordinary link availability, up to 99.9999%, equivalent to or better than carrier class wireline systems. The platform is FCC certified, operates in the license exempt 5.8GHz band and is easy to install, configure and manage. It delivers payback in less than 12 months to enterprise customers, including corporations, municipalities, universities and hospitals seeking to connect data networks; and to wireless ISPs seeking to backhaul data or cellular traffic.

Also at the WCAI conference this week, Orthogon’s Founder and Chief Technology Officer Nigel King will lead a presentation titled “Case Studies on the Benefits of WAN,” at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 10. The talk will reveal the results of a radio coverage study as well as techniques for delivering wireless connectivity in a non-line-of-sight environment.
