Frank Boulben has been hired as vice president of corporate strategy for Orange

LONDON -- Orange Group today announced that it has appointed Frank Boulben as Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Frank will be based in London and will report to Bill Stewart, Executive Vice President of Strategic Marketing. Frank will be responsible for driving the Corporate Strategy, addressing the key strategic issues and challenges faced by the company and recommending decisions and action plans in the context of the wider France Telecom group.

Frank joins Orange from Corporate Value Associates, a management consultancy, where he headed up the Technology-Media-Telecoms practice. Prior to his time at CVA, Frank spent eight years at Vivendi Universal; from 1994 to 1999, Frank was Executive Vice President of Strategy for Cegetel/SFR and from 2000 until 2002, he was COO of the company’s internet division, Vivendi Universal Net.

Commenting on his appointment, Sol Trujillo, Orange CEO said: “We are delighted that Frank has joined Orange, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the strategic issues faced by the industry gained in his highly successful career over the course of the last fifteen years.
