Openwave appoints Jody Bilney, previously CMO at Charles Schwab, as chief marketing officer

(Nasdaq:OPWV),the leading provider of open software products and services for thecommunications industry, today announced the appointment of Jody Bilneyaschief marketing officer of Openwave. Bilney, a marketing veteran withover20 years’ experience, joins Openwave’s management team most recentlyfromThe Charles Schwab Corp., where she held the position of chief marketingofficer. Prior to Schwab, Bilney, served as senior vice president inchargeof brand management and marketing communications at VerizonCommunicationsInc. and president of Verizon’s Consumer Markets enterprise.
