Openwave Appoints CFO

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:OPWV), a global software innovator delivering context-aware mediation and messaging solutions, today announced the appointment of Anne Brennan as chief financial officer. Brennan replaces Karen Willem, who resigned from Openwave effective March 31, 2010.

With more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, Brennan most recently served as Openwave's vice president of finance, and also served as Openwave’s interim CFO in early 2008. Effective April 1, Brennan will become Openwave’s CFO and report to Openwave CEO Ken Denman.
