SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Powerwave Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:PWAV) today announced initial deliveries of its proprietary designed 1900 MHz W-CDMA RF power amplifiers to Nortel Networks* during Powerwave’s current third quarter. This RF power amplifier product is utilized in Nortel Networks W-CDMA base station, and is one of sixteen products currently supplied by Powerwave to Nortel Networks.

Edwards, President and Chief Executive Officer of Powerwave Technologies. “Powerwave is proud to be a supplier of this RF power amplifier product to Nortel Networks and we continue to supply Nortel Networks with a full range of amplifier products covering GSM, CDMA, TDMA and W-CDMA protocols in the cellular, PCS and 2100 MHz frequency ranges.”
