Nokia Exec Rejoins TynTec

Ralph Eric Kunz, an original cofounder of TynTec, has resigned his senior role at Nokia to focus on his role as TynTec's chairman

LONDON -- Mobile messaging services providerTynTec (www.tyntec.com) today announces that Ralph Eric Kunz, anoriginal cofounder of the business, has resigned his senior role atNokia to focus on his entrepreneurial role with the company.

Previously Nokia's head of mapping, navigation and search, Kunz will befocusing on his existing role as Chairman of TynTec to identifyadditional strategic growth options and to accelerate TynTec's businessgrowth. In particular, he will be driving forward product innovationsdeveloping on TynTec's core SS7 connected infrastructure. TynTec is acash rich company that is looking at both organic and non-organic growthscenarios.

In his last position with Nokia, Kunz was Vice President and GeneralManager of Nokia's mapping, navigation and search business. Previouslyhe held positions in charge of Nokia's corporate Business Development,Voice-Over-IP and Internet Services activities. Here he worked closelywith internet companies such as Microsoft, Yahoo and Skype.
