NextPhase Wireless has completed hardware evaluation & testing & is reviewing site acquisition plans for WiMax network in NJ & Philadelphia
July 21, 2008
PHILADELPHIA -- NextPhase Wireless Inc (OTCBB: NPHS), a WiMAX network developer, announced today (21 July) that it has completed hardware evaluation and testing and is now reviewing site acquisition plans preparatory to implementing a WiMAX network in New Jersey and in Philadelphia, PA.
NextPhase is a licensed 802.16e WiMAX provider and is positioning itself as a supplier of connectivity to schools and government agencies. NextPhase believes that there are a large number of such organisations within the planned deployment area that would consider a licensed WiMAX operation, similar to that envisaged by NextPhase, to be a viable alternative to traditional Telco services.
NextPhase plans to deploy its WiMAX-ready wireless broadband connectivity across all 48 lower states in the US and is aiming its product at the educational, local government and commercial markets.
