Netgear chooses Marvell's Libertas 802.11g 54-Mbit/s chipset for its WLAN home networking solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Marvell(R) (NASDAQ: MRVL), a technology leader in the development of extreme broadband communications and storage solutions, today announced that its industry-leading Marvell Libertas(TM) 802.11g Wireless LAN chipset solution has been selected by NETGEAR(R) a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products, for its new 802.11g home networking solutions. NETGEAR selected Marvell's 802.11g Home Gateway solution based upon its high-level of integration and its ability to allow NETGEAR to accelerate the widespread adoption of 54Mbps 802.11g connectivity.
