Bulgarian mobile operator uses NetCentrex NGN solutions to deliver fixed-mobile convergence

PARIS -- NetCentrex® (www.netcentrex.net), the leading enabler of converged voicevideo-data networks and next-generation services, and MobilTel AD, Bulgaria’s number 1 mobile operatorwith 3 million subscribers, announced today that MobilTel AD has selected NetCentrex’ NGN solutions tooffer IP-based telephony services to business users. Integration will be carried out by Lirex BG Ltd.MobilTel AD was founded in March 1994 and today is the largest mobile operator in Bulgaria, with over 3million subscribers. Operating under the M-Tel brand, MobilTel’s services cover more than 90% ofBulgaria’s territory and more than 98% of its population. The company has roaming agreements with 307operators from 135 countries and GPRS roaming agreements with 51 operators from 32 countries all overthe world.
