Neovia Builds WiMax Network

TORONTO -- Redline Communications Inc., a leading provider of standards-based WiMAX and broadband wireless infrastructure products, today announced that Neovia, the major Brazilian wireless service provider, has chosen Redline's RedMAX(TM) products for the first stage of its planned US$30M fixed wireless network. Neovia is the first in Brazil to incorporate WiMAX Certified Equipment in its network, which serves more than 35,000 subscribers in 52 cities throughout Sao Paulo State.

The RedMAX network will deliver true broadband connectivity, offering users at speeds of up to 35 Mbps, with guaranteed service levels for businesses and residents.
