NEC America appoints Mike Rosen as GM for Corporate Networks Group's marketing & sales support division

IRVING, Texas -- NEC America, Inc. (NEC) today announced that Mike Rosen has been appointed general manager for its Corporate Networks Group's Marketing & Sales Support Division. In this role, Mr. Rosen will oversee all marketing and product management responsibilities for NEC's complete line of enterprise voice communications solutions. His appointment is effective immediately. Mr. Rosen has served in a number of management capacities for NEC since 1983. Most recently, he was assistant general manager for the Corporate Network Group's Business Systems Sales Division (BSSD), NEC America's independent dealer sales channel. Prior to his tenure with BSSD, Mr. Rosen worked as director of product management for NEC Telephones in the early 1980s, before moving on to positions in the business development and corporate marketing divisions within NEC. Before joining NEC, Mr. Rosen spent 10 years with Contel Executone, holding several engineering and marketing positions. "Mike is an energetic, knowledgeable professional who not only understands our company, he is acutely aware of the opportunities and challenges that exist in the marketplace," said Tamio Takashima, senior vice president, NEC America, Corporate Networks Group.
