RF components company Premier Devices acquires Motorola Broadband Nurnberg

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Premier Devices, Inc., a leading designer and producer of RF components and subsystems, announced today that it has acquired all of the shares of Motorola Broadband Nurnberg GmbH from a German subsidiary of Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT). The Company will be renamed Premier Devices Germany GmbH. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Motorola Broadband Nurnberg is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and distribution of cable TV amplifier modules and subsystems for the broadband communications industry.

"We have had a highly valued relationship with Motorola for a long time and this transaction allows us to further that association," stated Phil Liao, CEO of Premier Devices, Inc. "Our new Nurnberg facility is also an ideal platform from which we intend to expand our European business."
