Metatron, Keppel Team Up

SINGAPORE -- Leading the test and measurement industry by developing the most highly adaptable solutions for testing, monitoring, and optimizing wireless networks, Metatron Technologies Inc. announced that they are collaborating with Keppel Telecommunications and Transportation Limited (Keppel T&T) to bring cutting-edge monitoring and optimization products and services to carriers throughout Asia and Europe. With these new sophisticated tools and services, mobile operators and infrastructure vendors will be able to quickly and cost-effectively evaluate and improve the performance of their wireless networks. Being able to manage this information and respond to problems quickly significantly lowers costs and increases the profitability of today's wireless service providers. "Metatron's DimensionZ application provides Keppel with a competitive advantage that will enable them to capture a significant portion of the test and measurement market," said Ng Eng Ho, Managing Director of Keppel T&T. "Metatron's quick customization and rapid new device integration capabilities enable us to give our customers timely access to innovative solutions that are specifically designed to meet their needs." Keppel will incorporate Metatron's products in their network management, monitoring and optimization packages and engineering services. The two firms will also explore the possibility of establishing a joint research and development center in Singapore to create new automation and optimization solutions. Metatron will provide sales, technical support and training for all drive testing, analysis and reporting components that are integrated with the DimensionZ software platform. This includes Opera(TM) for voice quality measurement and TransIT(TM) for data quality measurement. Metatron also plans to introduce Keppel T&T to its existing customers in Japan.
