YAKUM, Israel -- Metalink Ltd. (Nasdaq: MTLK), a global provider and developer of high performance wireline and wireless broadband communication silicon solutions, today announced that Tzvi Shukhman, Metalink's chairman and CEO, and a principal shareholder, has acquired an additional 41,615 shares of the Company's stock in open market purchases during the last 4 months, and a total of 1,377,547 shares since November 2001.
Mr. Shukhman has been a steady buyer of Metalink's shares, bringing his beneficial ownership of Metalink stock to 5,772,971 shares, which is 30.4% of the Company's outstanding shares.
The purchases by Mr. Shukhman have been made in accordance with Metalink's trading window policies.
