MegaPath selects Edgewater Networks EdgeMarc and EdgeView for delivery of business VoIP and data services

SANTA CLARA, Calif. and PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Edgewater Networks, a leading provider of Enterprise Session Border Controllers (ESBCs), and MegaPath Corporation, one of the leading providers of managed data, voice, security and hosted IT services in North America, today announced that MegaPath is deploying the Edgewater EdgeMarc 4552 Series ESBC and the EdgeView VoIP Support System to deliver its business VoIP and data services. MegaPath installs its T1 and Ethernet circuits using Edgewater’s voice-ready ESBC as a WAN access router, making it seamless for MegaPath customers to implement Hosted Voice and SIP Trunking services immediately, or as a future service upgrade.The Edgewater EM 4552 serves as the demarcation point for MegaPath services at the customer premises, providing T1 or Ethernet termination, data routing, Quality of Service (QoS) and the VoIP interoperability needed to reduce costs, increase the speed of deployment and ensure high quality service delivery.
