SHERBROOKE, Quebec -- Media5 Corporation, a leading developer of advanced Communications over IP products, services and developers solutions, today announced the launch of its new application, Media5-fone for Symbian-S60, now available for download on the Ovi Store by Nokia.

The Media5-fone for Symbian-S60 is part of a suite of SIP-based mobile VoIP (mVoIP) and Unified Communications softclient applications enabling end-users to make VoIP calls using their smartphone with any available WLAN and Packet Data (3G) networks. The Media5-fone's enhanced features coupled with the latest smartphone devices from Nokia and their built-in network capabilities allow Service Providers and Enterprises to fully realize the business potential, communications efficiency and cost reduction of mobility and VoIP.

Media5-fone is designed for Service Providers (Wireless Carriers, ITSP, Cable Operators, MVNOs, etc.) that want to offer mobile VoIP and Unified Communications services and features to consumers and enterprises.
