LONDON -- Ladybird Innovations Oy today announced the sale of Lot 23, comprised of FI101335, US6345089, EP0885532 and WO9729598 patents and applications relating to roaming management technology. The patent portfolio will be offered at The IP Investment Summit & Live Auction 2007 ("IPILA 2007") on 1 June at The Dorchester in London, England.

The patented technology allows the mobile operators to change the preferred roaming partner list on the subscriber's SIM cards with a radio update. By using the technology, cellular operators can obtain great savings in roaming tariffs and added negotiating power when negotiating over the roaming contracts.

"This patent portfolio opens new avenues to anyone interested in the cellular roaming business. The technology is already used by some mobile operators and these solutions have been produced by different providers. The acquisition of this portfolio, therefore, presents an ideal opportunity for any cellular operator, SIM card or software manufacturer, or a mobile software company to consolidate and capture the value in the industry," Says Mikko Vaananen, Inventor and Managing Director of Ladybird Innovations Oy.
