Kestrel Announces Layoffs

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Kestrel Solutions, Inc., an innovator in optical networking, today announced a program to reduce its workforce, including outside contractors, by approximately 16% in response to announced reductions in service provider spending.“We are taking these measures in order to support Kestrel Solutions’ primary business objectives,” said Brian Jervis, President and CEO of Kestrel Solutions. “While this is a difficult decision, these changes will not affect our ability to deliver on customer commitments.
