In a move that accelerates its growth in the fiber optics broadband market, Kestrel Solutions today announced the acquisition of telecommunications-engineering firm Communications Products Inc. (CWA) for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition of CWA supports the expansion of Kestrel's product portfolio for the metropolitan market.
Communication Products Inc. (CWA), a 24-person company based in Los Gatos, California, has a 20-year history of creating custom voice, data, and video solutions for all platforms, protocols, and media. Its client list boasts high-tech heavy hitters, including Pacific Bell, for which CWA designed a forerunner of DSL.
