NEW YORK -- IntelliSpace, the largest high-speed fiber-optic wiring company for commercial properties in New York City, will lease fiber-optic rings and commercial building access from Metromedia Fiber Network Inc. (MFN) (Nasdaq: MFNX), the leader in deployment of optical IP Internet infrastructure within key metropolitan areas internationally. As part of the 20-year, $200 million agreement, IntelliSpace will use MFN's fiber to offer its customers access to multi-gigabit Metropolitan Area Networks, with virtually unlimited bandwidth, in up to 67 major markets throughout North America and Europe.

"MFN's infrastructure will enable IntelliSpace to enter new markets quickly and offer customers the high-capacity, optical network needed to deploy the media-rich applications of the next generation of the Internet," said Nick Tanzi, president and chief operating officer of Metromedia Fiber Network.
