Highwave Optical Technologies appoints Ludovic d'Apréa to VP of worldwide sales and David Pureur to CTO

LANNION, France -- Highwave Optical Technologies, (Nouveau Marché, HGWO) a leading European supplier of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) sub-systems for the deployment of high-speed optical telecommunications infrastructures, today announced the promotion of Ludovic d'Apréa to VP of Worldwide Sales and David Pureur to CTO.Ludovic d’Apréa joined Highwave Optical Technologies in May 2000. He has over eight years experience in sales and marketing, seven of which have been in the telecommunications sector. Most recently, d’Apréa held the position of sales director for the EMEA/Asia Pacific region, and had previously held the position of O.E.M. Accounts Manager for the Company.David Pureur was one of the founders of Highwave Optical Technologies in 1998 and initially held the position of Research Manager for the Company. During his two year tenure in that role, he developed Laser Diode Stabilizers, Gain Flattening Filters and Optical Fiber Amplifiers. In 2000, he was appointed Director of R&D where he led the development of tunable dispersion compensators, double clad fiber amplifiers, Raman fiber lasers and athermal DWDM filters."Ludovic and David have clearly demonstrated their professional competencies and their dedication to Highwave over the last few years,” commented Eric Delevaque, President of the Executive Board. “Their efforts have developed and expanded our key customer relationships as well as the products that we are able to offer to our customers.
