PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- Helium Networks, in partnership with Xitech, Inc., has been selected by Von Roll WTI to design and implement a million Sq. Ft of wireless coverage over its entire facility. Located in East Liverpool, Ohio, and one of the nation's premiere commercial waste-treatment plants, Von Roll WTI has chosen Helium Network’s unique and patented Rollabout solution to ensure that the mission critical network is optimally designed in such a hazardous and complex environment.
Helium’s Rollabout solution, with its one of a kind technology platform that automatically and continuously collects real wireless measurements with precise position location information, simplifies the difficult task of designing enterprise-class, mission critical Wi-Fi networks. The Rollabout solution utilizes exclusive patented technology licensed from Carnegie Mellon University, a worldwide leader in the research and development of new wireless and broadband technologies. Using Rollabout, Helium Networks is able to design a Wi-Fi network in 50% of the time of a regular site survey, while also minimizing the required number of access points, thereby reducing the cost of installing a Wi-Fi network by as much as 33%.
