LONDON -- Redbus Interhouse (UK) Ltd, the UK division of Europe's most advanced, independent colocation and managed services provider, today announces that it has signed up, Griffin Internet, one of the UK's longest established ISPs and a wholesale provider of broadband services. This new partnership takes the number of connectivity providers that Redbus Interhouse can offer its London customers to 60, making Redbus Interhouse the leading independent colocation and managed services provider in the UK market, in terms of the choice and quantity of connectivity.

Griffin Internet, whose customers range from the small ISPs all the way up to BT, their biggest wholesale customer, currently provides Internet access to over 35,000 subscribers and provides wholesale services to over 200 ISPs and telcos. The installation of Griffin Internet in Redbus Interhouse will give Griffin's existing customers direct access to the company's high speed network and will enable them to become broadband service providers at a fraction of the normal cost of installing a 'central pipe'.

Adrian Sunderland, Technical Director, Griffin Internet, commented: "Our move to Redbus Interhouse has been very much customer driven. Demand for our broadband services has been growing rapidly and it's all coming from the web hosting companies at Redbus Interhouse, which seems to have the market sewn up in terms of being the colocation facility of choice for hosting companies. The usual route for companies wanting to provide broadband Internet access would be to buy a 'central pipe' from BT and invest up to £100k in the first year; the Griffin Internet wholesale solution provides the ability to provide broadband at a fraction of this cost."

Simon Neal, UK Country Manager, Redbus Interhouse (UK) Ltd, commented:"We're delighted to welcome Griffin Internet into Redbus Interhouse and look forward to a lengthy and mutually beneficial relationship with the company.Their presence will enable them to satisfy the broadband service requirements of those companies we share as customers and offer our other customers an extremely cost-effective alternative to BT's broadband. With Griffin Internet on board, no-one in the industry is able to offer a wider choice of connectivity providers than Redbus Interhouse."
