ARCEP issues Free Mobile its 3G license

PARIS -- Through its Decision No. 2009-1067 of 17 December 2009, ARCEP accepted the application submitted by the firm Free Mobile, in response to the procedure launched on August 1st 2009 for the award of the fourth 3G licence in France.

Today, through its Decision No. 2010-0043, ARCEP brings this procedure to a close by awarding Free Mobile a licence to use the frequencies to establish and operate a third-generation mobile nework in Metropolitan France, under the terms stipulated in the call for submissions. The terms of this licence also include the commitments made by Free Mobile in its application dossier.
