MILAN -- Carlo Micheli, Executive Vice Chairman of FASTWEB (Milan, Nuovo Mercato: FWB), resigned today from the Board of Directors of the Company and from his responsibilities on the internal Budget and Business Plan Committee. He will maintain his stake in FASTWEB, presently at 9.985% following the underwriting of the recent capital increase.

Mr. Micheli specified that he intends to dedicate himself to other activities and that his full time involvement in new projects is not compatible with a continued role in FASTWEB. The company expresses its appreciation of his contribution in developing FASTWEB successful business model and wishes Carlo Micheli every success in his new initiatives.
