Telecommunications and network veteran Anil Khatod has joined AirDefense Inc. as President and CEO

ATLANTA -- In recognizing the surging market demand for wireless LAN security and monitoring, telecommunications and network veteran Anil Khatod has joined AirDefense Inc. as President and CEO to lead the company in its next wave of super-charged growth. AirDefense co-founder Jay Chaudhry remains chairman and actively involved in the operations of the company.

Khatod was most recently a venture principal with Waltham, Mass.-based Atlas Venture. He is widely known for his achievements as a senior executive with Nortel Networks where in his final position he served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. In this role, Khatod was responsible for corporate strategic planning, global marketing, alliances, acquisitions, integration of acquisitions, government relations and advanced technologies for all Nortel businesses across the globe.
