LAUREL, Md. -- Etenna Corporation, an antenna developer for commercial wireless applications, has secured a $3 million Series D round from ECentury Capital Partners of McLean, Va., and New York-based Archery Capital. This brings the company's total funding to $21 million, with earlier capital rounds sponsored principally by The Titan Corporation and Archery Capital. In connection with the round, the Board of Directors has been increased to five members, with Jim Broder of ECentury Capital joining the four current directors: Gene Ray and Eric DeMarco of The Titan Corporation, Bruce Smith of Archery Capital and Steve Grossman of Etenna. "In today's challenging economic climate, investors are being very selective in their investment choices. It is a testament to the strength of Etenna's technology and our business plan that we are able to attract additional capital," said Steve Grossman, President and CEO of Etenna. "These funds enable us to more rapidly expand our customer base and fulfill orders for our 802.11, Bluetooth(TM) and handset antenna products." Etenna Corp.
