Ericsson Expands China GSM
Ericsson signs a $56M contract with Guangxi Mobile to expand their GSM betwork in China

STOCKHOLM -- Ericsson has signed a USD 56 million contract with Guangxi Mobile Communications Company Limited (Guangxi Mobile) for the expansion of their GSM network in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This is the second expansion contract awarded to Ericsson by Guangxi Mobile during 2003.
Under the contract, Ericsson will provide Guangxi Mobile with GSM network equipment to help further enhance its network performance and capacity. Nanjing Ericsson Panda Communications Company Ltd., the largest joint venture of Ericsson in China, will provide the contracted equipments.
