WASHINGTON -- Equant (NYSE: ENT) (Euronext Paris: EQU), a recognized leader in global data and IP services for multinational businesses, with approximately $3 billion in annual revenues, has moved its Reston, Va., office to Dulles Corner in Herndon, Va.

More than 320 Equant employees, including President and CEO Daniel Caclin and other top executives, have relocated to a 75,000-square-foot facility at 2355 Dulles Corner Boulevard. The new facility offers Equant closer proximity to Dulles International Airport and to Equant's other Northern Virginia office on McLearen Road in Oak Hill. Approximately 500 Equant employees work at the Oak Hill facility, which houses one of Equant's three Global Network Management Centers.

With a combined total of more than 800 employees, Equant's Northern Virginia offices represent its largest North America presence and its second-largest location worldwide. Equant also maintains a major office in Atlanta, with nearly 500 employees. Equant has approximately 2,200 total employees in its 25 sales and support offices located across the U.S. in all major markets. The U.S., which is home to about 40 percent of the world's top multinational companies, represents Equant's largest single-country market, generating more than a quarter of its total revenues. To serve this market, Equant owns more than 200 network points of presence in all the major cities and further extends its reach through partnerships with several U.S. national and regional providers.

"We continue to believe that Northern Virginia is a highly strategic location for us for serving our North American multinational customers," Caclin said. "Our location in this leading high-tech corridor - with quick access to Dulles Airport and many of our major vendors, partners and customers - certainly contributes to our competitive advantage and bottom-line results."

Equant's U.S. customer base includes such well-known corporations as 3M, APL/APL Logistics, Asyst Technologies, Dresser, Ernst & Young and Hyatt International. Equant targets multinational Fortune 2,000 companies that have mission-critical global communication requirements.
