SOMERSWORTH, N.H. -- EigenLight Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its new Series 100 High Performance (SRHP100) inline optical tap monitor. The SRHP100 Optical Tap is an extension of EigenLight’s advanced Series 100 Optical Tap product line with a higher directivity and reduced polarization stability. This gives the design engineer of optical networking subsystems advanced capabilities that can be used to monitor and control the optical power within an optical network.EigenLight’s High Performance Series 100 inline optical tap monitor has the lowest loss, highest directivity and lowest PDL on the market. This allows the SRHP100 to be used in the most demanding networks (40G, 100G, 400G and 1T coherent systems) without compromising the quality of the transmission signal. By capitalizing on EigenLight’s patented optical tap technology, the high directivity (>35 dB) of the SRHP100 allows it to be used in monitoring individual counter propagating signals of an FTTX network accurately without compromising the other signals. The low loss and low PDL makes the SRHP100 ideal for EDFAs and Raman Amplifiers where several optical taps are cascaded together and minimizing loss and PDG is important. “By using our advanced manufacturing processes, we are able to modify the parameters of our optical tap to achieve the high directivity while controlling PDL and insertion loss”, states Kevin Lefebvre, Ph.D., Director of Business Development. “This allows the SRHP100 to be used in the utmost sensitive systems to monitor the optical power without influencing the transmitted signal.” EigenLight will be featuring the new High Performance Series 100 Inline Optical Tap at their OFC booth # 1229, March 19th-21st. In a separate release:SOMERSWORTH, N.H. -- EigenLight Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its new 500 Series line of inline optical fiber power monitors that will allow carriers and technicians to monitor the optical network in a more cost effective and efficient manner. The programmability, low-cost, low loss, low PDL and high directivity makes the Series 500 monitors ideal for monitoring the optical power of Long Haul, Metro, FTTX and Data Center Optical Networks. EigenLight believes the new Series 500 monitor product line takes inline power monitoring to a new level. With the lowest loss and lowest PDL on the market, the Series 500 can be used in the utmost demanding networks (40G, 100G, 400G and 1T coherent systems) without compromising the quality of the transmission signal. By capitalizing on EigenLight’s patented optical tap technology, the high directivity of the Series 500 monitor allows it to be used in monitoring individual counter propagating signals of an FTTX network accurately without compromising the other signals. These features, combined with the low-cost, programmability and the USB interface, makes the Series 500 optical power monitor a cost effective and flexible solution for accurate power monitoring in the optical network. Kevin Lefebvre, Ph.D., Director of Business Development at EigenLight, is excited about the release of this new Series 500 monitor. “The Series 500 takes our advanced inline optical tap and integrates it into small, low-cost, programmable platform. This will allow the carriers and technicians to capitalize on our exceptional inline optical tap specifications to measure the power levels of the optical network without disconnecting the fiber from the network. The high directivity and the low loss make the Series 500 ideal for data centers and FTTX applications” says Dr. Lefebvre. EigenLight will be featuring the new Series 500 optical power monitor at their OFC booth # 1229, March 19th-21st, demonstrating the product in several applications. The Series 500 monitor line comes in Single Mode, Multi-mode or Polarization Maintaining Fiber. In a separate release:SOMERSWORTH, N.H. -- EigenLight Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its Inline Series 100 Optical Tap Monitor Array (SA100) product line. The SA100 Optical Tap Array product line is an extension of EigenLight’s advanced Series 100 Optical Tap, integrating several optical taps into one compact package and at a low price. This gives the design engineer the capability to reduce the size of their design without compromising performance or price. The SA100 Optical Tap Monitor Array comes standard in 4, 8 or 12 optical fiber configurations but can be configured in customized fiber counts.EigenLight’s SA100 product line uses EigenLight’s patented optical tap technology, where the transmitted light remaining within the optical fiber, along with advanced manufacturing processes to integrate the optical tap with a photodetector. This produces a low loss, high directivity and low PDL optical power monitor that can be used in the most advanced optical networking subsystem without compromising the quality of service of the network. Furthermore, the integration of the optical tap and the photodetector into one package decreases manufacturing, supply chain and component cost while reducing the size of the optical subsystem. For optical networking subsystems such as EDFAs, Raman Amplifiers, Wavelength Selection Switches and ROADMs, where several optical taps can be used for monitoring and control, integrating several optical taps into one package (SA100) will reduce the cost of designing and manufacturing the subsystems. Kevin Lefebvre, Ph.D., Director of Business Development at EigenLight, states that “packaging several optical taps into one package along with the superior specifications of the SA100 allows optical networking subsystem manufacturers to reduce the cost of their systems while maintaining a high standard of performance. This is especially important as optical networks move through 100G and onto 1T.” EigenLight
