Diversified Technology Inc. and MontaVista Software formalize OEM agreement for Linux deployed with DTI's Targa ATCA series

SAN FRANCISCO -- Diversified Technology, Inc. and MontaVista Software, Inc. today announced a formal OEM agreement to promote DTI's Targa series of AdvancedTCA® Solutions preinstalled with MontaVista Linux Carrier Grade Edition (CGE). The collaboration supports both companies' commitment to modular, standards-based AdvancedTCA® platforms for the telecommunications market. In addition to the DTI's Targa product line, MontaVista Linux Carrier Grade Edition (CGE) for the PlexSys line of PICMG® 2.16 Platforms will also be included in the development partnership. CGE is an advanced Linux-based development platform from market leader MontaVista Software, engineered specifically for the robust and highly available requirements of carrier grade app lications.
