DiCon Fiberoptics’ new corporate headquarters in Richmond, Calif., covers more than 201,000 square feet

RICHMOND, Calif. -- DiCon Fiberoptics, a manufacturer of fiberoptic components, modules and test instruments, announced the opening today of its new corporate headquarters in Richmond, California. This new facility will be the primary base of operations for core research, product development, sales, administration and next-generation product manufacturing.DiCon Fiberoptics’ new corporate headquarters includes more than 201,000 square feet of floor space, of which 135,000 square feet will be dedicated to new product development and manufacturing. It is built on DiCon Fiberoptics’ 28 acre campus in the Marina Bay district of Richmond, California. The new facility is in addition to 130,000 square feet which DiCon already operates in Richmond, California as well as 88,000 square feet in Kaoshiung, Taiwan. DiCon Fiberoptics’ investment in these new facilities reflects its on-going commitment to expand its product portfolio and production capabilities for leading-edge optical components to meet customer requirements during the next decade. According to Dr. Ho-Shang Lee, DiCon’s Fiberoptics’ President & CEO, “We are excited about the opportunity to combine the majority of our employees under one roof for the first time in over 10 years.
